Ullern is a neighborhood in Oslo, Norway. It is located in the borough of Ullensaker, and is a part of the urban area of Oslo. The neighborhood has a population of 8,742 as of 2014.

Ullern was originally a farm known as Ullern gård. The farm was owned by the family of Norwegian nobleman, Christopher Tugel, who served as a viceroy in Norway during the 1660s. In 1763, the farm was bought by King Frederick VI of Denmark and Norway.

In the early 20th century, Ullern became a popular residential area for the upper middle class of Oslo. Many large and luxurious homes were built in the neighborhood. Today, Ullern is still an affluent neighborhood, and is home to many diplomats and politicians.

The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology (Norsk Teknisk Museum) is located in Ullern. The museum was founded in 1914, and it is the largest science and technology museum in Norway. The museum has a collection of over 200,000 items, and it is open to the public every day except Mondays.
