Roadmap of logo design process
We advise clients to give as much information as possible about their company so that we may gather the most precise details for the logo that they want us to create, like some design references, colors, and fonts.
After the client placed an order
First Step - Creating 3 initial exclusive logo concepts, the client chooses his favorite logo concept with which we will proceed.
Second Step - If a revision is required clients must send comments in the chat. We will proceed with the changes as soon as possible and make sure that they are fully satisfied with the design. We won't raise the price or charge more for revisions, all we gonna ask is that they should accept the "Extended timeline request" if ever we send it to them.
Third Step - After the revisions are complete and they will approve the final files, or make another round of revision maximum of 10 revisions. After they are satisfied with the design they shall then mark the order as completed for us to close the project.
Sending this message to clients before commencing the project is essential to provide them with an understanding of the initial delivery timeline and the overall process.
As for the process itself, it typically involves the following key elements:
1. You place an order.
2. You will provide a detailed brief and mood board if possible for art direction.
3. You will receive three initial logo concepts in a PDF format within 5 to 6 days. The initial logo concepts are not finalized files.
4. We will collaborate on revisions or create new logo design until you're completely satisfied.
This outlines the steps and what to expect from my services. Let me know if you have any questions!
It is essential to inform clients about the contents included in the order they have placed.

When it comes to weekends
On Friday we aim to deliver updates on all projects from all the designers, so we enter the weekend with "updates and files delivered" this we already do to some project extension.
In addition on Fridays we can always inform that:
"Happy Friday, here is the current status of your project, here are the current files, I will be offline during the weekend Saturday and Sunday I have some activities planned, I will pick up on Monday where we left and I expect to have your next round of updates and files delivered at the end of Monday or within Tuesday next week."
That way all clients already know before the weekend that we are off during weekend.
Daily updates
We can also consider to just update all clients daily with a short message like this to clarify where we are in the process like this:
Initial delivery
"Good day! Just sending you a quick daily update here on the process and roadmap, I am now working on the design and I will submit the first 3 logo design concepts well presented in about 4 days from now, stay tuned and talk soon!"
This will make all clients more at ease and they know where we are and what is coming next, this will also greatly reduce the incoming messages where clients request updates after they have become a bit "restless and eager to see something"
And then we have the "revision updates" for example after initial delivery.
"Good day! Sending you a quick update here, I have received your revision requests and all of these are noted, they make sense and I will aim to execute and deliver on all of these within the coming 48 hours and then I will send back the next round of presentation"
When a customer requests a revision and there is no more time left on the deadline, we will send them the last pdf provided and request a new timeline extension, which must always be two days or dependent on the day, for example, if there is no time left on a Friday, we will set the timeline extension to Tuesday.
”Hello, please approve the timeline extension request so that I may work on the alterations, I have added a little extra time and will work on the revisions and will provide an update on Monday, as tomorrow is the weekend and I do not work on weekends. Thank you for your patience.”
A client is not happy with the revision update, we will aim to deliver a new set of logo design and keep on working on it until the design is approved.
”Good day! I sincerely apologize if the recent design fell short of your expectations. To make amends, I'll present a new set of fresh logo designs. You choose your favorite, and we'll collaborate until it's perfect. Unlimited revisions are on me until it's approved.”
Design is approved
”Hello, now that the design and other aspects are approved, I'm starting work on the final files. I'll provide you with an update within the next 24 to 48 hours. Stay Tuned!”
The designer will now work on the final files and ensure the client's requests and order details are complete upon submission. The designer and team leader will check each file before submitting it.
Submitting the finalized files
”Hello,
Thank you for your order and for providing the necessary instructions. I am glad to say I have completed your project as per your requirements.
I have attached all the final deliverables. Let me know if I have missed something or if you need anything else.
If you believe the work I have done is perfect you can complete the order. Please don't forget to share your experience by leaving feedback for me which is really important for me to improve my service and to my freelancing career as well.
I am looking forward to working with you again.
Thanks again and have a great day! :)
Eivind”
