Font License
Our recommendation for a client seeking a font license for a logo that falls under "remixed artwork" is as follows:
We have already paid for the font, which is sufficient.
If the logo design is now considered a remixed artwork and does not require a font license. It falls outside the category of fonts needing a license.
It is customary for graphic designers to purchase fonts and licenses, not the end clients.
The client can choose to purchase the license if they insist, and we will refund them the license fee.
Alternatively, we can purchase a new license for them at our expense and provide them with the license.
